Affiliate Disclosure
How we make money from the links on this site, in plain language.
The short version
SmallSpace Home is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and the Amazon.ca Associates Program, affiliate advertising programs designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.ca and affiliated sites. If you click a product link on this site and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you.
We may also link to other Canadian retailers (such as IKEA Canada, Wayfair Canada, or Structube) as plain reference links with no commission attached. Where a link is an affiliate link, it is noted at the top of that article.
Why this doesn't change our recommendations
We choose products because they're genuinely useful for small Canadian apartments, not because of a commission rate. We don't accept payment for positive reviews, and we don't inflate prices or hide cheaper alternatives to make a paid link look better. See ourEditorial Policy for the full standard we hold ourselves to.
What this means for you
- Prices shown are approximate and sourced from the retailer at the time of writing — always confirm the current price before buying.
- Clicking an affiliate link costs you nothing extra; the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer.
- Any commission earned helps keep this site free and ad-light.
